The physical development of children at 1 year 11 months
For several months, your baby alone walked, ran and climbed, but suddenly there was a weakness in his legs and he demands to be worn. What is happening? First of all, your child is not forgotten how to walk (run or climb), it just reached a point where the independence and mobility for it is no longer news. In fact, walking was his duty, and by their children's nature, he protests against any imposed by the rules.
Second, maybe your child is unsure what he likes all of his newly acquired independence and he wants to be supported. Even if he is able to get to bed and sleep, he wants you to be picked up and carried him.
What is the solution? Try to find a compromise: let your child as many opportunities and incentives for independent walking. Then, hug and pat him as often as possible, to let him know that you are still an integral part of his life. And soon, your baby will get stronger and even more, he will again be stomping with a renewed sense of independence.
