He participates in the life of the house
Your baby or toddler of 21 months loves probably change the furniture around, help with household chores and playing with his own shelves, table and chairs. It may also be able to put on his clothes by himself, to wash and dry your hands, or brushing teeth with a little help.
Is he ready for potty training?
Between 18 months and 2 years, the child knows when he will urinate or have a bowel movement. You will also notice there are signs he wants to go to the bathroom: he squatted perhaps or squirms away. But even knowing what happens, it does not mean ready to go on the potty. To see if your toddler is ready for the pot, check out our list of signs that the child is ready for potty training.
He wants to do everything as a "great"
If it stings anger and seeks to explore the world, your toddler of 21 months also wants things his way. This indicates that it grows and feels confident enough to fend for himself. Respect the preferences and interests of your child. Try to give him certain desires, like putting jam on her toast or choose the outfit that wants to wear. Make it clear that as things like behavior that is contrary to safety, are not negotiable.
Establish and follow routines
Some children will be reassured if they eat and go to bed at set times. Routines can also make your life easier. If your toddler knows what to expect each day, you certainly oppose less resistance. Also, if you do the same things the same way, you save time every day.
