He adapts his language

Little lies

At this age, the lines between reality and fiction is still unclear. Your toddler can tell you that he did not scribble on the wall because he would not have done. It does not lie deliberately! Encourage him to tell you what really happened without appearing nervous or frustrated. Explain that his lie is worse than anything he could do. If he is not afraid to tell you the truth, you will avoid the spiral of lies.



Answer questions

At this age, you sometimes have to answer difficult questions about the conception of babies. Avoid metaphors and other euphemisms and go straight to the point.
